All CUPE 204 members are encouraged to fill out the bargaining survey.
We need your input, your pritorities, and your vision.
Thank all of you for your hard work during what has been a very challenging year. The COVID 19 pandemic has placed frontline health care workers under tremendous amounts of additional stress. We are so proud of how the CUPE health care workers have responded. Everyone is doing above and beyond.
We know things before this pandemic were already difficult. The provincial government’s decision to undertake radical changes to the health care system and force representation votes has been extremely stressful on everyone in the health care system. We thank you for your patience while we took the time over the last several months to meet with new members, process grievances, and collect members’ contact information.
We do not know exactly when we will be able to get to the bargaining table, given the present reality, but when conditions allow, we must be ready. That is why we are asking you to identify your priorities for bargaining.
This bargaining survey is one of the main ways we are able to get information from CUPE members before we finalize the bargaining proposals.
We need to hear from you! We need to know your opinions, priorities, and experiences in the workplace.
The deadline for submitting your input is 4 pm on June 12, 2020. The results will remain anonymous and will be kept confidential.
All personal identifying information will be kept confidential. The reason we are asking for your name is to avoid duplicate surveys and to get accurate data. We will also use this information to update our contact list so we can keep you updated during bargaining. We will be communicating via email, text messages and social media during bargaining.
Collective bargaining is always an important time for our members, and it is an excellent opportunity to have your voices heard. Please answer all the survey questions and help position us in the best way possible for a fair collective agreement.
